Hello and welcome to the Nourish Balance Thrive podcast my name is Christopher Kelly and today I would like to tell you about a live webinar this happening this Thursday, September 3, 10 AM Pacific 1 PM Eastern time and I will be joined by Dr Tommy Wood who has been on this podcast several times and then also Tawnee Prazak of Endurance Planet and we'll be talking about oxygen deliverability and red blood cells and haemoglobin mass and how those things can affect your athletic performance. This can be stated quite clearly there is a linear relationship between your haemoglobin mass and your VO2max or watts per kilo so what exactly it means the more haemoglobin you have (haemoglobin as a protein that transports oxygen) the more haemoglobin you have, the faster you will go and I can tell you that there are some markers on a standard blood chemistry that no doctor is going to be looking at or caring about with respect to your athletic performance that you can use to boost your performance so those markers are things like haemoglobin obviously an also haematocrit, mean corpuscular volume, C-reactive protein and some other markers we get all the details in the webinar this Thursday and so we were lucky to join is only limited because Tommy will be on to answer your questions and are yet my big idea to have your blood chemistry handy for the webinar and anyway you can sign up over at o2boost-webinar.nourishbalancethrive.com and put the link in the show notes for this page to make it easy for you so yeah. Podcast now had over sign up before all the spots are gone and hopefully I will talk to you on Thursday.
